# RATE_LIMITED

**What it means.** Too many requests in a short time.

**What to do.** Wait for the number of seconds in details.retry_after, then retry.

- HTTP status: 429
- Retryable after applying the fix: yes

Every failure from the CLI or an MCP tool has this shape:
